Express Gratitude for Your Intuition

August 10th, 2008

(This is an excerpt from a series of intuition building articles I wrote recently)

Whenever you ask your intuition for guidance, be certain to express gratitude for its presence in your life. Gratitude is one for the most powerful means you have of welcoming and keeping anything in your life, and your psychic intuition is no different.

I call gratitude the beginning and the end, because it is the most powerful way to start everything and the most humble way to end anything. Gratitude expressed for the things you have and the people you love informs the universe about what you desire to keep and what you want to bring into your life.

So every time you access your psychic intuitive voice, give heartfelt thanks for its presence in your life. Say things like:

  • I am so grateful for the ability to hear my intuition
  • Thank you intuition for showing me the way
  • I feel grateful for my intuition
  • Thank you God for bringing clear intuition into to my life

Then every time you do something that turns out better because you listened, thank your internal voice for the help. Think thoughts like:

  • Thank you so much for giving me that advice
  • I’m so grateful for you in my life
  • I couldn’t have done that without you, thank you
  • I’m so blessed to have your guidance

It is important to be grateful not just for your own voice, but also for the intuitive voices of others. Every time someone gives you advice and you hear the voice of intuitive wisdom expressed, thank them for the help. Every time you see someone else access their intuition, thank them for their ability to listen. Gratitude is much more powerful if it is used both internally and externally. In this way you are strengthening yourself and helping others to grow stronger too.

The result of all this gratitude will be a heightened awareness of your own intuitive power, but that is not all. Gratitude has some other benefits that hitch a ride in your life. Gratitude expressed brings a greater sense of peace and calm. Happiness and joy piggyback on gratitude, and genuine humility also comes along for the ride. For the record, who among us wouldn’t be blessed by a good measure of humility?

2012

May 12th, 2008

Many people around the planet are gearing up to witness the coming of the year 2012. We are getting closer and closer to this time and as we do, both excitement and fear mount.

What is going to happen in 2012? Well, I suggest that there will be a cacophony of realities mixing together and at the end of the day, not a lot will have transpired that isn’t already happening.

Why do I say this? I believe very strongly that we all create our own realities; and to the extent that we are able to consciously do so, we have greater control over how our futures will unfold. But even if we are not conscious of our reality-creation powers, we are creating through them in absentia, likely giving other people and energies the right, and latitude, to create them for us.

That said, it is no wonder that many people are taking the signs of ancients as the last word of what will happen in our reality in 2012. It is easier to let others dictate for us, especially if we view these ‘others’ as beneficent ancestors who have carefully placed messages for us to ‘warn’ us of our fate.

If, however, you carefully examine many of these ‘warnings’ from the ancients, you will likely see that there are myriad translations for each of them. For example, I have heard no less than 6 popular translations of the Mayan 2012 Code and what it means for us in this time; everything from certain destruction of our species, to complete enlightenment of our species.

So what will it be? That is for each of us to decide for ourselves. Do you want to be a part of certain death and destruction? Do you want to be an enlightened one? Do you want life to continue on pretty much as it is? Or do you want to figure it out as you go? It is up to you.

I cannot stress enough that global changes are afoot. But even this is, I think, overstated. Imagine, if you were living several hundred years ago in the flatlands of Africa, and a cyclone hit in Asia and killed several thousand people, would you be likely to hear about it? Or would you likely only hear about those events that directly affect you and your neighbors?

The same is true in more developed regions. Say you lived in San Francisco in the 1800s and there was a series of murderous rampages in Florida, would you have heard about it? Or would you have been more inclined to think that sort of thing doesn’t occur because it never happened to your neighbors in San Francisco?

I hope you see my point. Today, we turn on the news and hear of terrible tragedies that are happening all over the world and so we may assume there are more tragedies now than there were 200 years ago, 100 years ago, or even 50 years ago, when what we are experiencing is not ever-increasing disaster, but instead the effect of global communications.

Another aspect is, of course, the swelling numbers of people on the planet! Since we know that the human race on average produces one serial murderer per every 3 million people, it’s easy to understand that there would be more serial murderers with a higher population. If we then also know that higher concentrations of people in cities also produce more serial murderers then you would expect a higher city population to produce them at a slightly higher rate, perhaps 1 in every 2 million people. In this era of immediate, global communication, we will doubtless hear about every serial murderer in the world, so it seems as though there are not only more, but also that there are many more and they are way scarier than ever! In fact, this misperception is simply a matter of a higher population and global communication. We now hear about every tragedy, disaster and serial murderer, even when the event, occurrence or individual has little or no immediate influence on our lives or communities.

So let’s return to the original question: What is going to happen in 2012? Many things. I personally believe our species is poised to make a giant leap in our collective evolution. We are developing bigger brains, and an 8th Chakra, and we are developing ways of thought communication that use the quantum field directly to create massive thought changes on a global scale. But will this be everybody’s experience? I doubt it.

At its most basic, I believe 2012 is a galvanizing point, a place to anchor vision and therefore action into our time-space continuum. Yes, there are galactic events that will take place at that time, the rising of the galactic center into direct alignment with Earth. What these events and changes will do, I have no idea, but they will undoubtedly have some effects. Many people can speculate, but no one truly knows.

So, I suggest that you are being asked to make up your mind about which reality you want to align with and to go ahead and align! I have done so and we will see at the end of the day, how our individual realities and decisions will play out in concert with all other realities on the planet.

If you have strong feelings about one reality that you wish to create then you should live your life to create it for yourself and work to bring people with you. Independent of 2012, (which will arrive whether we are prepared for it or not!) that is the best each of us can do on any day: to create the vision of reality we want for ourselves and infect as many people as we can with our optimism or our fear about the future. We each make our own choice… I choose optimism. Every day, in every way, I am getting better and better. Want to join me?

New Living Expo Success

May 3rd, 2008

So many wonderful things have come from participating in the New Living Expo! I feel fortunate and blessed to have been there.Infrastructure in place

Thursday was the first day, set-up only. Larry and I spent several hours getting the electrical and infrastructure set up.

We then came back on Friday morning early to set up the displays and help other people with their needs. My instructions to the weekend crew were that the people in the booths around us were to be considered family for the whole event – we were all there to create one big open environment of success and healing and to support them as much as they support me. So we had a lot of good camaraderie develop and love permeated the area. Nicely, many people over the course of the weekend stopped in our area and commented how it felt open, lighter and more peaceful than in other areas of the exhibition. That was very affirming of everyone’s efforts. :D

MariaFriday was very, very light, as far as traffic. The event coordinators were surprised at the low turnout. Maria came to help us out, even though it was Good Friday for her. Luckily, the low turnout facilitated her leaving a bit early so she could attend church. But her good energy and optimistic personality were a godsend. Many of the exhibitors around us were a bit downhearted, but we managed to keep our optimism for Saturday. What did happen on Friday though was a good shakedown of the booth structure. Marketing coordinators circulated late on Friday evening to help people with their booth structures. They spent a lot of time with us, helping us tweak our displays! It was wonderful!

LarryLarry and I spent late Friday night into the wee hours developing a new display sign to be ready for Saturday and I’m so glad we did. Saturday was very full! The event drew a tremendous crowd!

By 11am on Saturday I was cranking out readings/energy healings and it was non-stop until 10 that night. Many things happened during the day! Miracles and gifts galore!

The day started with two powerful wizards visiting me and we had a great time recognizing each other from lives before and greeting each other anew. We will be working together in the future I’m sure. They brought gifts of stones for me and energy deluxe! Two Wizards bearing Gifts

The clients I saw all day were wonderful people! Barbara and Patsy were on hand to help! Poor Patsy however was running a fever and we urged her to go back home and get in bed. But her good energy that morning, albeit feverish, was a wonderful contribution to the effort. Barbara was our hostess du Jour for the day, bringing people into our booth and filling up my time with wonderful people to contribute to. She developed, what became known as “Crystal Chocolate Bliss!” She would pick a stone for a person to hold, have them close their eyes and pop a piece of chocolate into their mouth. WhatCrystal Chocolate Bliss resulted was pure bliss! People were coming to the booth just to experience it!

Larry was busy doing support and also taking great testimonials from people on their way out. Unfortunately for him, though, many people were not able to give testimonials as they were teary and said quite clearly, they were too overwhelmed with what they had experienced to be able to talk yet – an incredible testimonial in and of itself. But through all that, he kept us fed and watered and kept the booth running! Much kudos to Larry and Barbara!

Things happened all day long that were unexpected, mostly on the wonderful side! But we also had our silliness, such as the projector decided to stop working for about 5 hours! But it seemed to make very little difference as people were floating in and out of our booth with joy and ease. And we considered it a resounding miracle when it decided to come back to life and begin serving our video loop again!

Booth 3.0Mid evening the marketers came back to our booth and helped us reconfigure for Sunday.

So with booth design 3.0, we cranked up Sunday! Wow what a crowd! Larry, Barbara and Patsy were again on hand. The expo crowd brought us lots and lots of people.

Poor Patsy was still sick and went home after a couple of hours. Barbara continued filling my schedule with great clients and Larry got many more wonderful testimonials! It was a non-stop, energy filled experience!

One of the most extraordinary things that happened was that clients fromPatsy and Barbara Friday and Saturday were busily bringing new clients by the booth. One woman made it her personal mission to bring as many people as possible to the Rabika Oasis! She purchased a bunch of tickets for her friends and sent them all over – friends and strangers as well! So wonderful to have supporters and contributors who believe in what I am doing. Thanks go to all of them.

KaarinSunday was the day of gifts too! All day long the tables were filling up with people who just wanted to give me something! Books, crystals, food, all wonderful! One woman was moved to bring me a selection of her own energy jewelry products and muscle tested me for the perfect fit. What an incredibly blessed person I am!

By Sunday night as the expo closed, we had to turn people away. There just wasn’t time to help everyone right then. But luckily the website is up and people are free to call me for personal work now that the expo is over.

By the way, we never did get Wi-Fi access in the building, which resulted in us not being able to serve FREE Rabika online readings at the booth. It turned out fine though as the booth was crowded Saturday and Sunday regardless! Larry called it our McGuffin, and I think he is right about that! If you don’t know what a McGuffin is, check out Alfred Hitchcock!

All in all it was a dynamic, exciting time for us. Thanks again to everyone who helped me get from conception to expo in just 5 short weeks. This is a wonderful and auspicious beginning to the new Rabika! :D
